Bajel Projects Wins Rs. 300-400 Cr. EPC for GIS Substation in Mumbai

Bajel Projects Ltd. has recently won an order worth between Rs. 300 crore to 400 crore for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) in Mumbai. As per Bajel Projects’ stock filing, the said order was received from a Datacenter client in Mumbai.

Scope of work for this order entails designing, engineering, supplying, erection, testing, and commissioning a 400/220/33 KV GIS Substation. This project is expected to support the power requirements of a large-scale data centre, where an uninterrupted electricity supply is needed for continuing operations. Furthermore, Bajel Projects will also be responsible for performance testing of the substation.

According to Bajel Projects, this substation project is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the commencement date.
