Bajaj Electricals’ top line grew slightly by 0.50% YoY to Rs. 1,118.33 crore during Q2 of FY-25 from Rs. 1,112.82 crore during Q2 of FY-24. The company’s PAT fell by 59.28% YoY to Rs. 12.90 crore in Q2 of FY-25 from Rs. 31.68 crore during Q2 of FY-24.

Further, the company’s Earning Per Share (EPS) also slipped to Rs. 1.12 during Q2 of FY-25 from Rs. 2.37 in Q2 of FY-24.
QoQ Analysis of Bajaj Electricals’ Financial Performance: Q2 FY-25 vs. Q1 FY-25
On Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, the company’s revenue fell by 3.17% from Rs. 1,154.91 crore earned during Q1 of FY-25. Bajaj Electricals Q2 PAT was also down by 54.11% from Rs. 28.11 crore PAT reported for Q1 of FY-25.

Consumer Products: Bajaj Electricals earned revenue of Rs. 868.27 crore during Q2 of FY-25 against Rs. 857.57 crore revenue reported for Q2 of FY-24, reflecting a marginal increase of 1.25% in the company’s segmental revenue.
Lighting Solutions: Bajaj Electricals earned a revenue of Rs. 250.06 crore from its Lighting Solutions segment during Q2 of FY-25, representing a YoY decrease of 2.03% from Rs. 255.25 crore logged from this segment for Q2 of FY-24.
During the company’s earnings call for its Q2 FY-25 financials, Mr. E.C Prasad, CFO of Bajaj Electricals, said that that the company’s order book for its professional lighting business stood at Rs. 243 crore.
