Apar’s New 46-Acre Plant to Add to its Khatalwada Cable Manufacturing Facility

Aforementioned groundbreaking ceremony for Apar’s upcoming 46-acre unit at Khatalwada will add to the company’s already existing manufacturing facility. This new plant is more than just an expansion, it’s a hub for advanced manufacturing and technological advancements”, mentioned Apar’s LinkedIn post.

Although Apar Industries did not specifically clarify the products that will be manufactured at the upcoming unit, the company’s Khatalwada manufacturing facility is engaged in cable manufacturing. It is also Apar’s largest manufacturing unit. Khatalwada facility is equipped with four electron beam (e-beam) accelerators, one of 1.5 MeV, two of 2.5 MeV and one of 3 MeV, for producing cross-linked cables. Apar’s Khatalwada facility is also engaged in the manufacturing of EV charging cables and submarine cables. Therefore, it is likely that through this expansion, Apar will ramp up cable production further at Khatalwada. The new expansion project at Khatalwada, “…reinforces APAR’s commitment to growth, innovation, and excellence in the energy, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors”, stated the company.
