Air Liquide to Invest 350 Cr for Air Separation Unit in Uttar Pradesh

Air Liquide, a french multinational industrial gas manufacturer, has announced investment of around Rs 350 crore (EUR 40 million) to set-up a new Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Kosi, Uttar Pradesh.

Air Liquide India will build, own and operate this ASU, which is planned to start operating by the end of 2023.

This new unit will have a production capacity of 350 TPD (Tonnes Per Day). The company in its statement said that Kosi ASU plant will allow Air Liquide to meet the growing demand of automotive, metal fabrication, heat treatment, photovoltaic and electronics industries, as well as local hospitals requiring high-purity medical gases.
