ACC Performs Groundbreaking Ceremony for 2.7 MTPA Integrated Cement Plant

One of India’s largest producers of Cement and a subsidiary of Lafarge Holcim, ACC Ltd. has conducted the Groundbreaking Ceremony of a greenfield project at Ametha in Kymore, Madhya Pradesh. ACC’s greenfield project includes 2.7 MTPA integrated cement plant with 1 MTPA cement grinding unit.

This new project will have an energy efficient rotary kiln system with pre-calciner of 9,500 tons per day capacity and a Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS) of 15 MW capacity. WHRS system shall help in generating green power which shall lead to a reduction in CO₂ emissions of 1,40,000 TPA.
