L&T Secures Rs. 15,000 Cr Onshore Gas Compression Project

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore (LTEH Onshore), a key business vertical of Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), has signed a contract for a gas compression facilities project with a client in the Middle East. This contract is valued at over Rs. 15,000 crore.

Under this contract, the company will undertake Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of gas compression plants. This scope includes gas inlet facilities, gas compression systems, condensate and produced water handling systems, propane refrigeration systems, and all related utilities.

This facility will be built to support new onshore installations designed to process sour gas in compliance with client standards and project requirements. Additionally, L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution business will execute two 230 kV extra-high-voltage substations to satisfy power demands of the gas compression plants.
