Hindusthan National Glass is Investing Rs. 280 Cr. for Expansion in Haryana
Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Ltd. (HNGIL) is invest Rs. 280 crore to expand its glass manufacturing plant in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. The plant spans 50 acres.
As part of the expansion plan, the company will increase the plant’s glass production capacity to 600 Tonnes Per Day (TPD) from the existing 300 TPD. The expansion is expected to be completed at a fast pace, and within the next 60 to 90 days.
Of the total investment of Rs. 280 crore, Hindusthan National Glass will allocate Rs. 180 crore towards Capital Expenditure (Capex), while the remaining Rs. 100 crore will be spent on operating expenses over the next three years.
Hindusthan National Glass is India’s largest producer of glass containers. Through this expansion, the company aims to primarily cater to the packaging requirements of consumer industries.
