Finolex Industries Appoints Mr. Udipt Agarwal as its New MD

Finolex Industries Ltd. has appointed Mr. Udipt Agarwal as its new Managing Director (MD).

Mr. Agarwal completed B.Tech in Chemical Technology from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute in 1992. He brings over 30 years of professional experience across the chemical, bio-industrial, and specialty material sectors, with exposure to operations, business management, and market development across Asia.

Finolex Industries’ new MD, Mr. Agarwal, began his career at Shalimar Paints in 1993 as a Senior Sales Supervisor. He spent the longest phase of his career with Badische Anilin- und Sodafabrik (BASF), where he joined as a Product Manager in 1998. Mr. Udipt Agarwal continued to work at BASF until February 2013, when he had the role of a Business Development Manager, a position he held since July 2009.

Mr. Udipt held CXO leadership positions in 2022 after joining Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd. as Chief Commercial Officer, a role he held from November 2022 to August 2025. Thereafter, he joined Finolex Industries Ltd. as Chief Executive Officer in September 2025 and was subsequently promoted to Managing Director.
