Suzlon Wins its Largest WTG Supply Order in FY26 from Tata Power Renewable Energy
Suzlon Group has won its largest order in FY26 yet from Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL), which entails supply of 838 MW of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). This information was shared by the company in its press release dated 16th September 2025.
As per this order, Suzlon will supply 266 wind turbines each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW for TPREL’s Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project, which is split across multiple sites. These turbines will be supplied from Suzlon’s S144 wind turbine series and will be installed at TPREL’s sites in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. Out of the total 838 MW of wind turbines, the company will install 302 MW of wind turbines in Karnataka, 271 MW of turbines in Maharashtra and the remaining 265 MW of turbines will be installed in Tamil Nadu.
Commenting on the partnership between both the companies, Mr. Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, said, “Our partnership, spanning over a decade and marked by the third repeat order, underscores our shared commitment to India’s energy transition”.
