West Bengal Govt. Floats Rs. 288.13 Cr. Water Distribution System Tender

West Bengal state government’s Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has invited bids for developing a water distribution system at 12 zones in Shyampur-I & II Block and at 16 zones in Bagnan-I&II Block in Howrah. The estimated cost for the development of this project is Rs. 288.13 crore.

Scope of work in this project includes developing, supplying, and commissioning of a water distribution system in the aforementioned areas. Development of Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) and pipes supporting structures are also included in the scope of work. The tender specifies a completion period of 18 months for this project and three months for trial run. The successful bidder will also have to provide Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years.
