Waaree Power Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has commissioned two new solar inverter manufacturing lines at its existing facility in Sarodhi–Valsad, Gujarat. This information was shared by Waaree Energies in its stock exchange filing dated 29th December 2025.

Waaree’s New Solar Inverter Lines at Sarodhi–Valsad facility

The two newly commissioned solar inverter manufacturing lines at Waaree’s Gujarat plant have a combined annual production capacity of 3.05 GW. Each manufacturing line is designed to deliver a capacity of 1.52 GW per annum. However, the company has not disclosed the investment incurred for setting up the 3.05 GW solar inverter manufacturing capacity at the Sarodhi–Valsad facility.

A solar inverter is a key component of a Photovoltaic (PV) system, as it converts the Direct Current (DC) electricity generated by solar panels into Alternating Current (AC), which can be used for household consumption or supplied to the power grid.

Through these new manufacturing lines, Waaree Power will produce both single-phase and three-phase on-grid solar inverters at its existing plant in Gujarat. The company targets to expand its domestic manufacturing capabilities and cater to the increasing demand for solar power infrastructure across India.

Growing Solar Inverter Market in India

Waaree’s expansion in the solar inverter manufacturing segment comes at a time when the Indian solar inverter market is witnessing significant growth. This growth is being driven by government initiatives supporting renewable energy adoption, along with the increase in solar power installations across the country. Rising urbanization and growing electricity demand are also contributing to the deployment of solar inverters across residential, commercial, and industrial segments, thereby supporting overall market expansion.

According to a report by IMARC Group, the Indian solar inverter market was valued at USD 426.9 million in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 847.6 million by 2034, registering a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 7.92% during the forecast period.

In addition, increased investments in solar power projects and supportive policies such as subsidies and net metering programs continue to create favorable conditions for sustained growth of the solar inverter market in India.

About Waaree Energies: Waaree Energies was established in 1990, and today, it is India’s largest solar module manufacturer and exporter. The company reported a revenue of Rs. 14,846.06 crore during FY-25 and a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 1,932.15 crore.
