Vensa Infra. L1 Bidder for Haryana Airport Terminal Contract

Vensa Infrastructure Ltd. has emerged as Lowest (L1) bidder for executing construction works at Maharaja Agrasen International Airport in Hisar, Haryana. The company has submitted a bid of Rs. 412.58 crore against Airport Authority of India’s (AAI) project cost estimate of Rs. 503.71 crore.

Scope of work in this project includes construction of a new integrated terminal building covering an area of approximately 37,970 square meters. It will feature 3 aerobridges and 4 baggage claim belts, with provision for 2 additional aerobridges in the future. Additionally, development of a cargo terminal, Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, fire station building with a fire control tower, and other associated ancillary buildings at airport are also within scope of this contract.

AAI’s tender specified an estimated completion period of 2 years and 8 months for this project.

Further, it is probable that Hisar airport would be connected to Delhi’s IGI Airport in the near future via an RRTS line. Haryana Government submitted a proposal for the same to the Union Government in January 2022.
