Vedanta Reports Rs. 40,000 Cr. in Sales through its MetalBazaar e-Store
Vedanta Limited’s online metal selling platform, Vedanta Metal Bazaar, has recorded total sales of Rs. 40,000 crores since its launch in February 2024. The platform offers over 1,200 products across metals such as Aluminium, Zinc, Lead, and Copper.
In its press release dated 27th June 2025, Vedanta stated that 60% of its e-store’s customer base comprises Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MeatlBazaar’s catalogue offers these metals in diverse forms such as cathodes, billets, flip coils, ingots, Primary Foundry Alloy (PFA), sheets, slabs, coils and wire rods.
The company mentioned in its press release that the platform is helping smaller businesses streamline procurement, allowing them to focus on growth. The e-store is accessible via a customized mobile app under the name of Vedanta Metal Bazaar on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Vedanta announced the launch of Vedanta Metal Bazaar in February 2024.
