Ultracab Secures Rs. 51 Cr. Cable Supply Order from Maharashta DISCOM
Ultracab (India) Ltd., an Indian manufacturer of cables and wires, has secured an order worth Rs. 51.06 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL). Ultracab shared this information via a stock filing dated 5th February 2025.
As per the secured mandate, Ultracab will be supplying Low Tension (LT) Cross-Linked Poly Ethylene (XLPE) cables of ‘various sizes’ to MSEDCL. The exact quantity or specifications of these cables were not mentioned by the company. Ultracab will execute this order by June 2025.
Ultracab’s stock gained 2.54% after posting this order win. On 5th February 2025, the company’s shares were trading at Rs. 15.37 apiece as compared to Rs. 14.99 apiece on the previous trading day.
Ultracab recently made its Q3 FY-25 financials public, and the company exhibited exceptional growth. Ultracab’s Q3 FY-25 top line grew to 2.60 times of its Q3 FY-24 revenue, whereas the company’s Q3 PAT grew by 64.63% Year-over-Year (YoY).
Earlier in January 2025, Ultracab secured an order from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd. (MSETCL) for supplying 1.1 KV PVC Fire Resistant Low Smoke (FRLS) control cables.
