TRIL Receives Rs. 166 Cr. Transformer Supply Order from Hyosung T&D India
Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TRIL) has secured an order worth Rs. 166.45 crore for supplying transformers to Hyosung T&D India Pvt. Ltd.
Hyosung T&D India Pvt. Ltd. is a Gas-Insulated Substation (GIS) manufacturer and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Korea based Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation.
As per the scope of work in this order, Transformers and Rectifiers (India) will be responsible for manufacturing and supplying of single phase coupling transformers. These transformers are expected to be delivered to Hyosung T&D India by FY-26.
Last month, TRIL had won orders collectively worth Rs. 362 crore for supplying power transformers to some major companies including Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Adani Energy Solutions Ltd., and KEC International Limited. The company’s Q3 FY-25 Profit After Tax (PAT) showed an impressive growth to Rs. 55.48 crore, which is 3.53 times of the company’s Q3 FY-24 PAT of Rs. 15.72 crore. TRIL’s revenue also increased by 51.44% to Rs. 559.36 crore during Q3 of FY-25.
