TPREL Wins 200 MW Solar PV Project from MSEDCL
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has won a 200 MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) project in Solapur, Maharashtra. The company has received the Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for this project. This information was given by Tata Power in its media release dated 21st March 2023.
Development of this solar PV project will reduce approximately 432.94 million Kg of CO2 emissions per year. This project will be completed within 18 months from the date of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
After winning this project, the total renewable portfolio of TPREL has increased to 6,503 MW. Out of this, the company has already installed RE generation capacity of 3,909 MW, while the remaining 2,594 MW is in various stages of development.
