TP Saurya Receives LoA from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project Ltd

TP Saurya (TPSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has received a letter of award (LoA) from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) for developing 330 MW of solar power project. This project has been awarded to TP Saurya through tariff-based competitive bidding followed by e-Reverse auction conducted by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar.

TP Saurya shall be developing two units having combined capacity of 330 MW in Neemuch Solar Park of Madhya Pradesh. Unit-1 shall be of 160 MW and Unit-2 shall be of 170 MW.

Neemuch Solar Park is a proposed 500 MW solar power project in the district of Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, India.

Energy generated from these units shall be supplied to Indian Railways and Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company under power purchase agreement (PPA) with validity of 25 years.

Timeline for commissioning of the project is 19 months.

About Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited: It is a Joint Venture Company of Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVN), and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

RUMSL is a Solar Power Park Developer (SPPD) under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) with a purpose to develop large-scale solar parks in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
