Tender Out for Rs. 2,635.89 Cr. 6-Lane Cable Bridge in Patna

Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for the construction of a 6-lane cable bridge spanning the Ganges in Patna, Bihar. The estimated cost for this project is Rs. 2,635.89 crore.

Scope of work as per the tender entails the construction of a 6-lane, High-Level (HL) extra dosed bridge parallel to the existing Digha- Sonepur Rail-Cum-Road Bridge on its western side (180 m upstream). The bridge will be situated at Patna on NH-139W across River Ganga. This project is to be executed in EPC mode within a period of 42 months. A maintenance period of 120 days post-completion is also included in the scope of the tender.
