Suzlon Group to Develop 103.95 MW Wind Energy Project for AMPIN Energy Transition

Suzlon Group has secured an order from AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited for development of 103.95 MW wind energy project in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan. This information was shared by Suzlon Group in its press release dated 11th June 2024.

As per the order, Suzlon Group will supply and install 33 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each of 3.15 MW rated capacity at AMPIN Energy Transition’s wind energy site in Fatehgarh. These WTGs will be supplied from the company’s S144-140m wind turbine series. Each of these WTGs will be installed with Hybrid Lattice Tubular* (HLT) tower. Further, Suzlon will also be responsible for commissioning, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of this project.

*A Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower is used to mount wind turbine generator to the desired height. It consists of three components, namely a lattice tower, transition piece, and the tubular tower. The lattice tower is assembled on-site by welding steel profiles just above the foundation of the HLT tower, while the tubular tower forms the top part of the HLT tower. These two sections of the HLT tower are connected by means of a transition piece.
