Sterlite Power Appoints Ms. Monica Madan as its New CFO

Ms. Monica Madan has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd. (Sterlite). This information was shared by the company in its press release dated 10th March 2025.

Ms. Monica Madan, the newly appointed CFO, holds a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which she earned in 2002. Ms. Madan started her career in 2005 with Genpact LLC as its Assistant manager and worked there for 2 years. She joined McAfee as Senior Lead (Reporting) and worked there for four years. Later in 2012, Ms. Madan joined Microsoft as its senior finance manager.

In her 20 years of career, Ms. Madan worked the longest with Schneider Electric. She joined Schneider Electric in 2016 as its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leader for business operations in India. She held various major positions in company. Before being appointed as Sterlite Power’s CFO, Ms. Madan was working as Schneider Electric’s CFO for its business operations in Ireland.
