Sterling and Wilson secures its first order from Adani Green worth Rs. 1,381 Cr.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has received its first purchase order from Adani Green Energy Limited, valued at around INR 1,381 crore. The order is for a Balance of System (BoS) package for three solar power projects. These projects will be built at one of the world’s largest renewable energy parks in Khavda, Gujarat.

The Khavda Renewable Energy Park is among the biggest renewable energy projects in the world, covering about 538 sq. Km. The project aims to reach a total capacity of 30 GW by 2029.

Mr. Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said that this order is “…[SWREL’s] largest domestic EPC order this fiscal. He also added, SWREL has achieved more than INR 6,450 crore of order inflows this fiscal.”
