Govt Floats 402.67 Cr. Tender for Four-Laning of NH-169 Segment in Karnataka
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for a section of NH-169 en route Shimoga to Mangaluru in Karnataka. The estimated cost for the development of this project is Rs. 402.67 crore.
Scope of work specified in this tender includes widening of existing 31.55 Km long two-lane section of the aforementioned highway connecting Nellisara Camp to Thirthalli. However, an 800-meter stretch between Km 52.70 to Km 53.50 on NH-169 will not be expanded under this tender.
This project is expected to be executed under EPC mode in a period of 24 months. Further, a maintenance period of 5 years is also included post-completion of the specified work.
