SJVN Signs MoU with Norwegian Company for New Technology in Green Energy

SJVN Green Energy Ltd. (SGEL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ocean Sun, a Norwegian company, for developing a membrane based floating solar project of 2 MW capacity in India. SJVN Ltd. shared this information in its stock filing dated 27th October 2023. This will be India’s first membrane based solar plant.

As per the MoU, SJVN Green Energy will finance and develop the aforementioned solar project at a suitable location in India. Further, Ocean Sun will provide the patented technological support for this project.
