RR Kabel Appoints New Chairman & Managing Director

RR Kabel Limited has appointed new Chairman and Managing Director (MD) of the company. Mr. Tribhuvanprasad Rameshwarlal Kabra, Executive Chairman and Director of RR Kabel, has stepped-down from his respective position. On the other hand, Mr. Shreegopal Rameshwarlal Kabra has also stepped-down from the position of Managing Director of the company.

Mr. Ramesh Chandak will serve as Non-Executive Chairman, and Mr. Mahendrakumar Rameshwarlal Kabra will be the company’s new Managing Director.

Mr. Chandak, newly appointed Non-Executive Chairman of the company, has over 40 years of experience in finance, strategy, governance, and industrial operations. He has completed executive programme in ‘leading change and organisational renewal’ from Harvard Business School. He also holds a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which he earned in 1970. Mr. Chandak has held various senior leadership roles, including Managing Director & CEO of KEC International Ltd. He was also the President of Indian Electrical & Electronics manufacturers Association (IEEMA) for 2011-12. Before being appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the company, he was serving as Non-Executive Independent Director of RR Kabel.

Mr. Mahendrakumar Rameshwarlal Kabra has assumed the role of MD of RR Kabel from 1st June 2025. He is a Licentiate Mechanical Engineer and Industrialist with experience in the wires, cables, and electrical industry. Before being appointed as the company’s MD, he was working as Joint Managing Director of RR Kabel.
