ReNew Power Acquires Renewable Energy Projects for 2,850 Cr

ReNew Power, an Indian renewable energy developer, has acquired two power projects – one solar and the other hydropower having a combined capacity of 359 MW with a total investment of INR 2,850 Crore.

ReNew will be taking over L&T Uttaranchal Hydropower Ltd. in Uttarakhand for INR 985 Crore.

The other project is a 260 MW solar power project in Telangana which is already operational already since four years and has a power purchase agreement with Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana and Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana. This Solar power plant has acquired by ReNew for around INR 1865 Crore.
