Quality Power Acquires 76% Equity Stake in Veeral Controls

Quality Power Engineering Projects Private Ltd., a subsidiary of Quality Power Electrical Equipments Ltd, is going to acquire a 76% equity stake in Veeral Controls Pvt. Ltd. for Rs. 15.2 crore. Quality Power Electrical Equipments shared this information via a press release, dated 25th December, 2025.

Quality Power to Gain Full Board Control of Veeral Controls

According to the press release, the said acquisition cost will cover all assets, land, and factory costs of Veeral Controls. The cost of this acquisition will be covered through cash consideration. Post acquisition, Veeral Controls will become a step-down subsidiary company of Quality Power Electrical Equipment, and the latter will have full board control.

Veeral Controls, a three-decade-old company, deals in design, development, and manufacturing of power electronics components & systems. The company specializes in high-current power electronics and industrial power conversion systems. As a result of this acquisition, Quality Powers’ current technology base will expand.

Quality Power Engineering’s Presence to Expand Post Acquisition

Highlighting the impact of this acquisition, Quality Power Electrical Equipments Ltd. mentioned in its release that Veeral Controls specializes in high-current rectifiers and power conversion systems for industrial, rail, nuclear, and defence applications with exclusive technologies. This will further strengthen Quality Powers’ capabilities in high-current rectification and process-level power conversion.

Quality Powers stated, Veeral Controls’ technologies complement the company’s already existing high voltage grid equipment, Power quality systems, and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) solutions.

Veeral Control’s Exclusive Technology and Portfolio to Benefit Quality Power

Veeral Controls has a diverse customer base, which includes: BB/Hitachi, BHEL, BARC, Indian Navy, DRDO, Tata Power, Tata Steel, and Renew Power. The company has also supplied its systems overseas across Europe, the United States, Australia, and the Middle East.

Additionally, the company has also developed mission-critical systems that require electrical reliability and precise current control. These critical systems include: rectifier platforms rated up to 72 KA, high-voltage power nuclear-grade power supplies, and traction conversion systems.

Once the acquisition is completed, Veeral’s diverse portfolio will prove to be an asset to Quality Power’s current capabilities.
