Prasanna Kumar Motupalli to be Neyveli Lignite’s New CMD
Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) selected Mr. Prasanna Kumar Motupalli to be the new Chairman and Managing Director of Neyveli Lignite Corporation India Limited (NLC India) on 13th September 2022.
Mr. Motupalli is a Mechanical Engineer and has completed his Masters in Business Management in Operations Management, HR Management, Marketing Management, and Financial Management.
He is currently serving as Managing Director at Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL). He has held this position since November 2020. Before being with GSECL, he had served as NTPC’s Executive Director from June 2020 to November 2020. In his career, his longest association has been with NTPC, where he has worked for 34 years.
