Polycab India Q1 FY27 Revenue Jumps 39%, PAT Up 33% YoY

Polycab India Ltd. (PIL) [NSE: POLYCAB, BOM: 542652], a leading Indian manufacturer of cables and wires, has published its financial results for Q1 FY27.

On Year-over-Year (YoY) basis, Polycab India’s revenue jumped by 39% to Rs. 8,209.73 crore in Q1 of FY27 from Rs. 5,905.98 crore reported during Q1 FY26. Further, the company’s profit stood at Rs. 796.65 crore in Q1 FY27 against Rs. 599.70 crore during Q1 FY26, reflecting a YoY increase of 32.84%.
The company reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs. 52.09 in Q1 FY27 and Rs. 39.36 in Q1 FY26.
Quarterly Analysis of Polycab India’s Financial Performance: Q1 FY27 vs Q4 FY26
On Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) basis, Polycab India’s revenue fell by 7.39% from Rs. 8,864.48 crore in Q4 FY26. On the other hand, the company’s profit increased slightly by 1.41% from Rs. 785.60 crore in Q4 FY26.

Wires and Cables: The company’s revenue from this segment stood at Rs. 7,201.79 crore in Q1 of FY27, representing a YoY increase of 37.74% from company’s Q1 FY26 revenue of Rs. 5,228.65 crore.
The company mentioned in its Q1 FY27 investor presentation that growth in the wires and cables segment was driven by ‘resilient demand and higher commodity prices’.
FMEG: This segment of the company earned a revenue of Rs. 761.15 crore during Q1 of FY27, which is 67.57% higher YoY than Rs. 454.23 crore revenue during Q1 of FY26.
As per Polycab India’s investor presentation, ‘growth momentum remained robust across all product categories. Solar products continued to be the standout performer… retaining its position as the largest growth driver within the FMEG portfolio’.
EPC: During Q1 of FY27, the company reported Rs. 307.74 crore as revenue from its EPC segment against Rs. 347.41 crore earned during Q1 of FY26. This shows a YoY decrease of 11.42%.
