NLC to Supply 300 MW Solar Power to RUVNL
Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC India) has signed a Power Usage Agreement (PUA) with Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RUVNL) for the supply of 300 MW of solar power to the latter. NLC India shared this information in its press release dated 17th August 2023.
NLC India’s 300 MW solar project, which is being built at Bikaner, Rajasthan, will supply power to RUVNL for a period of 25 years. This solar project will produce 750 Million Units (MU) of electricity every year.
The contract to develop the 300 MW solar power project has been awarded to Tata Power Solar Systems.
