NHAI Floats Tender for Rs. 971.85 Cr. Highway Project in Gujarat
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for four-laning of existing Jitnagar-Bitada section of NH-56 in Gujarat. The estimated cost for development of this project is Rs. 971.85 crore.
Scope of work as per the tender includes four-laning of existing 22.36 Km long stretch of National Highway (NH-56) connecting Jitnagar and Bitada in Gujarat. This project will be executed under Package IV (B) in the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM)*.
Last date to submit bids for this tender is 4th July 2023.
*Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) refers to a mode of Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) wherein the government and the private player share the project expenses in a 40:60 ratio respectively. After the private player develops the project, it is handed over to the government. The government pays a fixed annuity to the private player for a certain amount of time as defined in the contract.
