Mr. V Satish Kumar Appointed as Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation

Mr. V Satish Kumar has taken over additional charge as Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, effective from 1st September 2024. According to a press release of IndianOil, he has assumed this role while continuing his duties as Director (Marketing). He has been working as Director (Marketing) of IndianOil since October 2021.

Mr. Kumar, a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has 35 years of experience and has worked in various companies over the years. He has previously served as non-executive Chairman of Indian Oil Petronas Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between IndianOil and Malaysia’s Petronas, and as the non-executive Chairman of Indian Oil Mauritius Ltd., a subsidiary of IndianOil.

Before his current role as Director (Marketing), Mr. Kumar was the State Head of IOCL’s operations in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
