MPMRCL Floats Tender for Bhopal Metro Underground Package BH-04
Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (MPMRCL) has invited bids for construction of the underground package, BH-04 of Bhopal Metro’s Purple Line at an estimated cost of Rs. 892 crore. This 3.39 Km long underground section will connect a ramp south of Sindhi Colony Station to a ramp on the western side of Aish Bagh Crossing Station.
Scope of work in this package involves the construction of twin tunnels with cross passages using cut-cover method. It also includes the construction of two underground stations, namely Bhopal Junction Station and Nadra Bus Stand with architectural finishings. Associated water supply works, drainage works, and sanitary installations are also included in the scope of work of this package. Completion period for this project is 3.5 years.
