Ahmedabad-based Montecarlo Ltd. (MCL) with its bid of Rs. 729 crore, emerged as the lowest bidder (L1 bidder) for package 3 of the Shamli – Ambala Expressway project. Shamli – Ambala Expressway is part of the upcoming 450 Km long Bareily – Ludhiana Economic Corridor under the Bharat Mala Pariyojana Phase – I.
This package entails the construction of a 6-lane, access-controlled highway of length 37.386 Km from Adhoya Musalmana to Sadopur in Haryana under EPC mode.
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had invited bids for this package in January 2022 with an estimated cost of Rs. 770.30 crore, and a completion period of 2 years.
