MMRDA Floats 1,878 Cr. Tender for Works on Mumbai Metro’s Line-12

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has floated a tender worth Rs. 1,877.88 crore for construction of 19 elevated stations for Mumbai Metro’s Line-12. This tender also entails the construction of a 22.17 Km-long elevated viaduct for this line, which will connect Kalyan – Dombivali – Amandoot (Taloja). Mumbai Metro’s Line-12 is one of the two lines (Line-5 and Line-12, connected at APMC Kalyan), which form the network’s Orange Line.

The successful bidder will design and construct an elevated viaduct from Chainage (Ch.) -860.224 m to Ch. 21316.022 m and 19 elevated stations (excluding architectural finishing and pre-engineered steel roof structures for stations) on Line-12 of Mumbai Metro. As per the tender, these stations will be developed at Kalyan, APMC Kalyan, Ganesh Nagar, Pisavali Gaon, Golavli, Dombivli MIDC, Sagaon, Sonarpada, Manpada, Hedutane, Kolegaon, Nilje Gaon, Vadavli (khu), Bale, Waklan, Turbhe, Pisarve Depot, Pisarve, and Amandoot. Further, a connecting line from Vadavli (khu) to the Mumbai Metro Line-12 depot is also included under the scope of this tender.

MMRDA has specified a completion period of 30 months for this project. Last date to submit bids for this tender is 25th January 2024.
