Mahindra Aerostructures Signs USD 100 Mn. Supply Contract with Airbus Atlantic

Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt. Ltd. has secured a contract worth USD 100 million from France-based Airbus Atlantic, a subsidiary of Airbus SE. As per the agreement, Mahindra Aerostructures will supply metallic components for Airbus’ commercial aircraft fleet from its manufacturing facility near Bengaluru.

Under the terms of this contract, Mahindra Aerostructures will manufacture and deliver approximately 2,300 different metallic components for Airbus aircrafts, including A320 planes. The company has been a supplier to Airbus Group since 2015. Commenting on this partnership, Mr. Vinod Sahay, President of Aerospace and Defence at Mahindra Group, said, “This new contract from Airbus Atlantic opens a new frontier in our existing relationship”.

Mahindra Aerostructures was established in 2011, and is a 100% subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. As of now, the company supplies over 1,20,000 parts and assemblies every month to aerospace companies in Europe, Australia and North America.
