L&T Secures Orders Worth Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,500 Cr. in Power T&D Sector

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business has secured various orders in India and overseas worth a total value between Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,500 crore. The company shared this information in a press release dated 26th June 2023.

These orders include development of a 765 KV transmission line in India. This upcoming transmission line will draw green energy from a solar and wind energy hub being developed in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.

Power T&D business of LnT has secured two orders for upgradation of electrical networks for factories in Middle East. Scope of work in these orders include development of Gas Insulated Substations (GISs) with related high voltage cable systems. Power transformers and control and protection systems are also included in the scope of work of aforementioned orders.
