L&T Secures Orders Worth Rs. 1,000-2,500 Cr. in Power T&D Sectors
Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution business has secured various orders in India and overseas worth a total value between Rs. 1,000 to 2,500 crore.
These orders include a contract to develop a 765 KV transmission line in Gujarat to enhance the available power transfer capacity from the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS).
L&T has also received an order to upgrade medium and low-voltage power distribution systems in the North-East of India.
Outside India, the company’s T&D business has secured orders to build 132 KV substations in the UAE. L&T has also secured an order from Saudi Arabia to lay a 380 KV line. In Dhaka and Narayanganj, Bangladesh, L&T’s T&D business has secured orders to build two substations of 132KV and 33KV capacity.
