Linde India Ltd.’s board has approved the proposal for setting up 250 Tons Per Day (TPD) merchant air separation unit at Dahej, Gujarat during its meeting on 1st October.
The new air separation unit will be set up at the company’s existing Dahej site, where the 110 TPD air separation unit is already in operation. Capital expenditure approved for this project is INR 138.6 Crore.
The company said this expansion will help to secure growth in the gases business in western (Indian) markets and deliver cost savings. The new Air Separation Unit is expected to be commissioned by the end of October 2023.
