LAPP India Inaugurates Coimbatore Plant for Harnessing Solutions

LAPP India, the Indian subsidiary of Germany-based Lapp Gruppe, has opened its manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This new facility was inaugurated by Mr. Gary Bateman, Managing Director of LAPP India earlier in March 2023, and several senior officials of the company were present at the event.
Coimbatore Plant to Offer End-to-End Customised Harnessing Solutions

LAPP India’s Coimbatore facility is spread over 16,000 sq. ft. and will be offering customised harnessing solutions for diverse industrial applications.
Harnessing solutions with or without moulding will be offered out of this new manufacturing facility for a wide range of cables such as multicore cables, flat, ribbon or bonded cables, and even single wires.
Focus on Opening More ÖLFLEX CONNECT Plants across India
In a social media post dated 13th March 2023, LAPP India stated that the new Coimbatore facility is a step towards expanding the network of LAPP’s ÖLFLEX CONNECT plants in India to reach more customers.
“The industry requirements for customised cable and connectivity solutions have motivated us to expand our capabilities and infrastructure capacities. With this intent of serving our customers 24/7, offering high-quality end-to-end cable and connectivity solutions at closer proximity, we have recently started operations at yet another new ÖLFLEX CONNECT plant at Coimbatore”, LAPP India stated in its post.
Earlier in December 2022, LAPP had inaugurated its service point in Vadodara, Gujarat, which was also aimed at providing harnessing solutions to its customers.
Coimbatore Plant to Provide LAPP’s ÖLFLEX CONNECT Solution
ÖLFLEX CONNECT is LAPP’s proprietary connectivity solution and comprises customised cable systems, servo systems and chain systems.
Cable solutions under ÖLFLEX CONNECT comprise a wide range of cables which include multi-conductor cables, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)-shielded cables, flexible spiral cables and glass fibre assemblies.
Servo solutions offered by LAPP under ÖLFLEX CONNECT include servo cable systems which are used to carry power and control signals to electric motors and other devices in a servo assembly.
Finally, LAPP’s chain solutions consist of nylon or steel chains. These chains are used to protect, group and guide flexible cables, hydraulic or pneumatic hoses, cable protection conduits, cable termination fittings and connectors, and other components in a cable chain assembly.
