KSB Receives Boiler Feed Pumps Supply Order from L&T for Thermal Projects
KSB Limited has secured an order from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Ltd. for the supply of boiler feed pump packages for two of National Thermal Power Corporation’s (NTPC) Supercritical Thermal Power Plants (TPPs). L&T had won contracts for the construction of these plants from NTPC in November 2024.
Scope of work in this order includes supplying of 15 main boiler feed pumps along with booster pumps, motors and accessories to L&T. This equipment will be installed at Stage-II of NTPC’s 2×800 MW Supercritical TPP in Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh, and at 3×800 MW Nabinagar Supercritical TPP Stage-II project in Bihar. These pumps are expected to be supplied within a period of 20 to 28 months. The company did not specify the value of this order, however, it has been mentioned in KSB’s official stock filing that the payment will be made in a staggered fashion as and when the milestones mentioned in the contract are fulfilled.
KSB Ltd. was established in India in 1960 with its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra. The company has six manufacturing plants in the country, located in Pimpri, Chinchwad, Khandala, Vambori, Coimbatore, and Sinnar.
