Mr. Shyamal Mukherjee completed Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from University of Delhi. He is also a Chartered Accountant and member of Bar Council of Delhi. His professional experience spans nearly 4 decades at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India. Mr. Mukherjee started his career at PwC India in 1984, and became a Partner in 1993. He went on to serve the company in various capacities, and was appointed as Tax Leader at PwC in January 2010. Later, he started serving as PwC’s Strategy, Growth and Brand leader in July 2015. In 2017, Mr. Mukherjee assumed the office of Chairman and Territory Senior Partner of PwC India and served this position till December 2020.
