KEI Industries Acquires Land in Rajasthan for Future Expansion Plans

KEI Industries Limited has acquired 74,000 square meter of land from Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) at Khairthal-Tijara district. This information was shared by the company in its stock filing dated 21st May 2025.

The company has acquired this land at an estimated cost of Rs. 93.58 crore. As per the company’s stock filing, this land will be used for KEI’s future expansions. However, the company did not specify any further information about its expansion plans.

During the company’s earnings call for FY25 financial results, Mr. Anil Gupta, CMD of KEI Industries, shared that the company is targeting to grow by 19-20% in the next 2-3 years. He added that Renewable Energy (RE) projects and new thermal energy projects, along with their associated Transmission and Distribution (T&D) infrastructure are major demand drivers in the Indian cable & wire industry. Apart from this, he also mentioned railway and metro railways, and Electric Vehicles (EVs) as areas of demand generation in the domestic market. Therefore, acquisition of the aforementioned land parcel in Rajasthan aligns with the company’s demand scenario outlook for the future.
