KEC’s Debut Oil & Gas Order in Middle East Among Rs. 1,016 Cr. of New Wins

KEC International Ltd., a major Indian EPC player, has won new orders aggregating to Rs. 1,016 crore. With these order wins the company’s Year-To-Date (YTD) order inflow has crossed Rs. 17,000 crore.

Notably, these wins include the company’s maiden oil and gas pipeline order in the Middle East. Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, KEC’s MD & CEO, shared that this mandate marks the entry of KEC’s Oil & Gas business vertical in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. He shared that this order involves composite station works, and it has opened “…a large and attractive market for future growth”.

Apart from the aforementioned order, KEC secured Buildings & Factories (B&F) segment orders for a luxury villa construction project in Western India, which “…has expanded [KEC’s civil segment’s] portfolio with a maiden order for the development of luxury villas in India”, as per Mr. Kejriwal. Apart from this, KEC’s civil order wins also include upstream works on a Steel plant in Eastern India.

In the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) segment, the company secured orders for the supply of transmission towers, hardware, and poles in the Middle East and the Americas. Apart from this, KEC will also be developing 400 KV transmission lines in the UAE.

Additionally, KEC has won supply orders for various types of cables and conductors in India as well as overseas.
