KEC Wins Orders Worth Rs. 1,017 Cr., Secures its Largest Solar Order in India
KEC International Limited has won orders collectively worth Rs. 1,017 crore across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Renewables segments. As per the company’s stock filing dated 2nd July 2024, the company has secured its largest solar order in India among these orders.
In Renewables segment, the company has won an order for Balance of System Package of a 625 MWp Solar PV project in Rajasthan. KEC International won this order from a ‘subsidiary of a reputed PSU in renewable power generation segment’.
Moreover in the T&D segment, KEC International has won orders for EPC works on a project and supply of towers in the Middle East.
Commenting on these order wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. said, “With these orders, our YTD order intake has surpassed Rs 5,000 crores, a remarkable growth of 50% vis-à-vis last year”.
