KEC International Wins Rs. 1,476 Cr. Orders Across India and Overseas

KEC International Ltd. has secured new orders worth Rs. 1,476 crore for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects. The orders have been received across India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.

The newly secured orders include supply of towers in India. In Saudi Arabia, the company will undertake installation of 380 KV transmission lines, substations, and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables. This Saudi project marks KEC International’s largest composite order in Saudi Arabia.

In Africa, the company will set up 132 KV transmission lines. In addition, KEC’s scope of work in the Americas includes supply of towers, hardware, and poles.

Commenting on the order wins, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD and CEO of KEC International, said, “We are pleased with the new order wins in our T&D business across multiple geographies”. He added that with these orders, the company’s year-to-date order inflow has reached about Rs. 22,800 crore.

Some of the company’s recent order wins include projects valued at Rs. 1,020 crore across multiple segments in India and overseas. The company had also secured orders worth Rs. 1,002 crore across the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables & Conductors segments.
