KEC International Bags New Orders Worth Rs 1,514 crore
Global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company KEC International Ltd. (KEC) informed through a press release on 12th May that it has bagged orders worth Rs 1,514 Cr over various business verticals.
Transmission & Distribution Business has bagged new orders in India and the Americas worth Rs 326 crore. KEC’s subsidiary SAE Towers booked the towers orders in the Americas.
Cables business of KEC has secured orders for various types of cables/cabling projects in India and overseas worth Rs 153 Cr.
Civil business has secured an order “for construction of elevated viaduct along with stations for a metro project and for mechanical and civil works in two cement plants” worth Rs 1,035 crore.
As reported in the above-mentioned press release Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd. mentioned that “We are delighted with the new order wins amidst challenging times. The Metro order widens our presence in the Urban Infra sector. With this order, we are currently executing six Metro / Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) projects”.
