K Narasimha Reddy Assumes Charge as Executive Director of NTPC Talcher Kaniha

NTPC has appointed Mr. Kariveda Narasimha Reddy as Executive Director (ED) and Head of Project (HOP) at its power plant in Talcher Kaniha.

Mr. Kariveda Narasimha Reddy has over 35 years of working experience in India’s power sector. He joined NTPC in 1989 and has since contributed to the corporation in several areas, including project management, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), ash management, and mechanical maintenance. His expertise are in power plant operations, particularly in rotating machinery, mills, feeders, and boiler maintenance. Mr. Reddy completed graduation in mechanical engineering from Kakatiya University in Warangal, Telangana.

NTPC Talcher Kaniha, officially known as the Talcher Super Thermal Power Station, is located in Angul district of Odisha. It was the first mega power project in the country.
