Jakson Green to Supply 400 MW of Solar Power to NHPC

Jakson Green Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC Ltd. to supply 400 MW of solar power from a project in Rajasthan.

Under the terms of this agreement NHPC will purchase power from Jakson Green’s upcoming project for a duration of 25 years at a tariff rate of Rs. 2.53 per unit. The solar project is scheduled to be operational within 24 months from signing of the PPA. NHPC will further sell the procured power to electricity distribution companies (DISCOMS).

Jakson Green’s Solar project is expected to supply power to 4,00,000 households annually and reduce 7,52,000 Metric Tonne (MT) of carbon emissions every year.
