J Kumar Secures 865 Cr. Chennai Port-Maduravoyal Expressway Package

J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. (JKIL) has emerged as the Lowest / L1 bidder for package 3 of Chennai Port-Maduravoyal expressway project in Tamil Nadu. This project will be executed under Bharatmala Pariyojana (BMP) program at an estimated cost of Rs. 865 crore.

Scope of work in this package includes the construction of a 4-lane, double-decker, access controlled elevated highway of length 4.485 Km, connecting Aminjikarai to Maduravoyal. This section is situated along Cooum River in Tamil Nadu. A completion period of 910 days (about 2.5 years) has been specified for the aforementioned project.

National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) had floated tender for this project in July 2022 with an estimated cost of Rs. 871.49 crore.
