INOXCVA Manufactures India’s Largest Ever Liquid Hydrogen Tank

INOXCVA, part of the INOX group, has manufactured the largest liquid Hydrogen tank made in India thus far. This tank, which has a capacity of 238 cubic metres or 2,38,000 litres, has been manufactured at the company’s facility in Kandla, Gujarat.

The company has manufactured this tank in compliance with European Standards to satisfy Korean Gas Safety (KGS) requirements for South Korea’s Doosan Corporation. Doosan will use it for its clean energy project, which will produce liquid Hydrogen to be supplied to charging stations for Hydrogen fuel vehicles.

INOXCVA had received the order to design, engineer, manufacture and supply this tank from Air Liquide Engineering & Construction, France. The latter has signed an agreement with Doosan for the development of its Hydrogen liquefaction plant.
